Guest Room Attendant
Location : Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, United States
Pay : $21 per hour
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - WILL TRAIN $20-$24 / hr STARTING
Job Summary :
Join our dynamic team as a Guest Room Attendant and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our premier location in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
As a Guest Room Attendant, you will ensure our guests enjoy pristine, comfortable rooms that meet the highest standards.
This position demands a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of anticipating and fulfilling guest needs to enhance their stay.
Responsibilities :
- Clean, sanitize, and dust all areas of guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, and dining rooms, following established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness in both occupied and vacant rooms to ensure a consistently high standard.
- Provide evening turndown service for guests, enhancing their comfort and relaxation.
- Identify and act on opportunities to personalize the service experience for each guest, contributing to memorable stays.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and front desk teams to report maintenance issues and ensure rooms are well-stocked with amenities.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications :
- Comfortable with lots of walking, going up and down stairs, and being on your feet all day. This is for a large hotel.
- Comfortable lifting 25-30 pounds.
- Ability to work with limited breaks and minimal cell phone use during working hours.
- One year or more of experience in hotel housekeeping (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring no aspect of the guest experience is overlooked.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
