Qualifications :
High School Diploma (Praxis Exam required); Applied Behavior Analysis (ABS) training; preferred Substitute Certificate (60 College Credits
Scope of Responsibility :
- Providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care and instruction of special needs students in the regular classroom or in a special education classroom;
- Assisting in implementing plans for instruction; Monitoring student behavior; provide therapies to increase student language and communication skills, improve attention, focus, social skills, memory, and academics, and / or decrease problem behaviors;
And providing information to appropriate school personnel.
