Overview
Compliance Lead, Servicing Advisory at Affirm — remote-eligible role reporting to the Director, Compliance. This role supports Affirm's Servicing Operations compliance program by ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, providing clear guidance to the operations team to mitigate risk, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive process improvements and grow the compliance program.
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. The Compliance team designs and implements a program that proactively addresses regulatory requirements, including advisory, training, testing & monitoring, reporting, escalation, and oversight. Compliance partners with the business to support new products and markets, change management, issue identification and remediation, and third-party assessment and monitoring.
This is a full-time, remote-first position that may require occasional in-person work at an office depending on role requirements.
What You'll Do
- Provide guidance to Affirm's Servicing Product and Operations teams on applicable regulatory requirements, and recommend remediation and prioritization.
- Provide independent oversight and credible challenge on servicing changes, including third-party oversight; work cross-functionally to address compliance issues at the root cause.
- Monitor regulatory developments impacting servicing and assess / communicate implications to stakeholders.
- Partner with the Complaints Compliance team to leverage complaint insights and drive durable product and process fixes within servicing.
- Support responses to regulatory and bank-partner inquiries, audits, and examinations through second-line reviews and documentation / evidence.
- Assist the business with developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls through second-line advisory, review, and oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Individual Contributor, but may have contractors reporting to them.Professional work experience in Compliance, Risk, Audit, or Bank Regulation. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a regulated industry is highly preferred.Compensation and Benefits
Base Pay Grade : J
Equity Grade : 5Affirm's pay structure is transparent and may include base pay, equity rewards, stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and dependents). USA base pay ranges (per year) : CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT : $130,000 – $170,000; all other U.S. states : $115,000 – $155,000.
