What’s a typical day as a Mechanical Evaluation Technician? You’ll be :

• Adhering to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs, policies, and procedures.
• Performing electronic troubleshooting to determine root failure and conducting preventative maintenance evaluations.
• Using instruments such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure gauges to examine, test, repair, and troubleshoot medical devices.
• Applying technical knowledge to interpret information, test for accuracy, and determine root causes.
• Writing clear and concise technical evaluation summaries resulting from troubleshooting analysis.
• Collaborating with a team and rotating into repair and test areas as needed.
• Performing inspection duties and providing training to employees as required.

• Have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to follow work instructions.
• Can work well independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Possess basic math skills and proficient computer skills.
• Are able to effectively determine the root cause of failure and perform basic statistical analysis.
• Have the ability to lift up to 30lbs on a routine basis and occasionally up to 41lbs.
• Are willing to wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
• Have an associate's degree or equivalent technical certification.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting.
