Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE :

The Technician II, Multimedia Production is a key storyteller, creating and distributing engaging video and photography across campus. This role focuses on executing visual campaigns that support college-wide initiatives and marketing efforts, especially seasonal ones. It's a hands-on position covering the entire production process, from concept to delivery, while also supporting our podcast and content creators, and managing media assets for various digital platforms.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Meeting with campus partners to understand their vision

Applying professional camera techniques, composition, and lighting to create content for college promotions, extensive event coverage, and general campus support

Develops and optimizes short-form content (e.g., Reels, mini-vignettes) for use across social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Assists in producing the "Falcon Frequency Podcast"

Salary

Hiring salary range is $38,761 - $44,575.

Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
