Shankar Distillers is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Management and Sales Support Specialist to join our team.
This role is crucial in coordinating events, managing sales support activities, and enhancing our brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the liquor industry, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong background in event planning and sales support.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, and execute events such as product launches, tastings, trade shows, and promotional events.
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and on-site event management.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and impactful events.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create event materials, promotional items, and post-event follow-up strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to events.
- Assist the sales team in managing customer accounts, processing orders, and tracking sales metrics.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining sales databases.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product information.
- Support sales strategies by creating sales collateral, coordinating promotional activities, and updating sales materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Act as a brand ambassador at events, promoting Liquor Distillery Name 's products and values.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and industry partners.
- Gather and analyze feedback from events and sales activities to inform future strategies.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in event planning and sales support, preferably in the liquor or beverage industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
