Responsibilities :
- The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day activities of the accounting department to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and corporate policies
- Responsible for all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card expense report reconciliation, cash applications, collections, and payroll)
- Ensure full accuracy of the financial ledgers on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, with full ownership and the lead on the monthly book close process
- Primary lead for all internal audit requirements to the extent these relate to finance and accounting
- Responsible for cash management, including performing wire transfers, ACH payments, daily cash report, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare State Sales & Use
- Maintain files and comply with record retention requirements
- Prepare monthly bank covenant package
