Yellow Medicine County is hiring a full-time Maintenance Worker to work in the Highway Department (Granite Falls shop location). This position is responsible for operating equipment such as trucks, loaders and related equipment owned by the county that are used in the care and maintenance of County roads. Minimum requirements : Any combination of education / experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some experience in the operation and maintenance of motorized equipment and tools. Must possess a valid Minnesota class A commercial driver's license and able to obtain appropriate endorsements including tanker within 6 months of hire. Starting pay is $24.37 / hr.-$33.74 / hr. DOQ.
