This in-house position is ideal for professionals seeking to balance work with other life commitments. As an Associate Dentist at Nagy Family Dental Group, you will be integral in providing high-quality dental care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Our practice prides itself on offering comprehensive dental services that cater to the needs of families and individuals alike.
This position is not remote and requires the successful applicant to deliver in-person dental care at our well-equipped facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patient's oral health status.
- Developing individualized treatment plans to address specific dental issues.
- Filling cavities to restore teeth functionality and comfort.
- Expertly applying crowns, installing bridges, and fitting implants to repair and replace missing or damaged teeth.
- Administering and prescribing appropriate medications to alleviate pain and aid in the treatment of dental conditions.
- Interacting professionally with patients, providing guidance and education on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Accurately measuring and fitting dental appliances to ensure patient comfort and appliance functionality.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, documenting all procedures and treatments performed.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and adherence to all state and federal regulations regarding dental and health care.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in dental procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Commitment to continuing education in dental practices and techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment and ability to handle dental emergencies effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
