Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Home Health RN

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary : $100,000+
  • Bonus : Up to $10,000 based on performance metrics
  • Health Insurance : 70% employer contribution

Position Details

  • Schedule : Full-time, office-based with on-call responsibilities as needed (potentially one weekend per month)
  • Case Load Goal : Growing patient census with a target of 500 patients
  • Direct Reports : Works under the Director of Nursing and assists in managing approx. 10 staff members
  • EMR System : WellSky, including AI support for OASIS documentation

Responsibilities

  • Assist with case referrals, review patient information to ensure appropriate care plans, and support the DON in meeting home care needs.
  • Review and evaluate cases to maintain care standards and support nurses in setting goals and care plans.
  • Help manage recruitment efforts for a growing team of healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Certification : Active RN license in Indiana
  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years in Medicare Home Health, including some leadership or supervisory experience
  • Preferred : Familiarity with OASIS (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Skills : Experience with EMR systems, particularly WellSky, and AI-supported OASIS
