About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Observation Unit Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours for 3x12's;
40 hours for 8 / 10's Experience : Minimum of 18 months of tele / acute care experience required; 2 years preferred. First-time travelers accepted.
License : Pending license accepted Certifications : BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start) Must-Have : - Time-sensitive modules to be prioritized once assignment is confirmed- COVID-19 Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only)- Flu Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only)- Must be nicotine-free;
no exceptions (Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine Drug Screen required within 12 months of start)- EKG and Pharm test required during orientation.
Two attempts max for each, with study materials provided Job Description : Work in a clinical decision unit with responsibilities in managing patient care effectively- Float within the scope to meet facility needs across three hospitals within 20 miles- Potential for discussion regarding block schedule in interview- Attend mandatory orientation with a total of 16 hours- Complete compliance documentation by the deadline (Monday prior to start)- Provide two references from direct supervisors / managers- Adhere to a smoke-free facility policy with strict compliance expectations
