Safety Manager
A leading construction materials company is looking for an experienced Safety Manager to join their team in Gainesville, FL area.
The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing health and safety plans, enforcing policies, and evaluating practices and facilities to ensure compliance and work with the team to improve the safety culture.

The Role :
- Organize, implement, and audit the corporate health & safety programs and strategy at the sites, ensuring compliance to all regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with management during internal and external audits and inspections of the workplace to ensure teammates are safe in their operations and surrounding environment.
- Serve as the primary contact for site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.
- Analyze safety data to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement.
The Candidate :
- 7+ years of health and safety management experience in heavy manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or a related field
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to interface with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong MSHA knowledge.
- Ability to work within a unionized environment.
