Job Summary :
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will engage in all phases of a project from inception to completion of construction. This involvement is intended to grow individuals and nurture design talents. In this role, you will :
- Design mechanical systems including Healthcare / Life Sciences / Multifamily.
- Oversee the preparation of technical drawings and specifications of mechanical systems.
- Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for discipline with clients.
- Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment.
- Develop calculations for mechanical systems and associated controls.
- Perform QA / QC of design work.
Required Qualifications :
- You have a minimum of 10+ years of experience.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- You have a thorough knowledge of mechanical design and corresponding terminology.
- You have experience with laboratories / medical facilities design.
- You have an excellent work ethic and attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office
- Ability to successfully lead teams and manage projects
- Excellent ability to read, interpret and implement plumbing design documentation.
- Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
Location : Phoenix, AZ Travel : 20% (local travel)
