Position : Azure Data Engineer
Location : San Antonio, TX - Onsite
Duration : Long Term
Need expereince on Azure Stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse) is mandatory
Key Responsibilities :
- Partner with business unit IT teams to discuss, gather, and document analytics solution requirements.
- Partner with IT Infrastructure team architects to define, acquire, and deploy cloud services required for a given cloud analytics solution.
- Partner with cloud service providers on cloud capabilities.
- Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing data & analytics solutions ingested from multiple source systems.
- Day-to-day management and support for analytics platforms to ensure availability and optimal performance.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills needed to function effectively as a member of the team.
- Exhibit customer focus while interfacing with business partners.
- Work on other reporting and business intelligence related tasks as necessary.
Required Skills :
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse developer, Data Engineer in developing analytics solutions.
- Expert level understanding of Cloud Data Warehouse Architecture, and Modeling
- Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience working with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and various services applicable to analytics workloads
- Working experience with BI Visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau
- Working knowledge of functional processes in the areas of Finance, supply chain, logistics. Oil & Gas experience in these areas is a plus
- Hands on working experience with DevOps, Agile, Scrum methodologies as it relates to analytics solution development.
