Job Description

Lead Service Line Replacement Project Engineer - Water

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), allocates a significant amount of money towards lead service line (LSL) replacement for communities.

AECOM is seeking a Lead Service Line Replacement Project Engineer that will support nationwide programs to inventory and replace lead service lines across various municipals across the country.

This role involves project execution to advance lead service line inventory and replacement projects. The successful candidate will bring experience in water infrastructure and lead service line replacement projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Execution Perform lead service line inventories, coordinate potholing work, develop lead service line replacement plans, prepare bid documents for the replacement of lead service lines, and funding opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Support relationships with key stakeholders, including federal agencies, municipalities, utilities, contractors, and community groups..

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

  • BA / BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
  • E.I.T. Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer
  • Lead Service Line Project / Program Experience
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Experience with water infrastructure regulations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $85,000.00 - $110,000.00.
