Overview :
This role involves handling shipping and receiving duties for a manufacturing company, including labeling packages for FedEx and UPS, tracking shipments, reading blueprints to sort parts, and documenting shipments using Excel.
The ideal candidate should have experience with shipping / receiving processes, especially within a manufacturing environment utilizing ERP systems to input order details.
Job Responsibilities :
- Efficiently handle FedEx and UPS labeling and tracking tasks
- Interpret blueprints to facilitate accurate sorting and organization of parts
- Maintain meticulous documentation using Excel for shipping activities
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills to ensure smooth workflow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize shipping processes
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for order tracking and data entry
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Requirements :
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (warehouse experience not required)
- Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and ERP systems (order number input, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related software applications
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education a plus)
Hourly rate ranging from $20 to $24 per hour
First shift schedule, overtime available
