Our technology helps universities and colleges enhance accessibility, compliance, and overall learning experiences. We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to drive growth in our Higher Education vertical by handling the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
Position Overview :
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Verbit's presence within the Higher Education market.
This is the first position at Verbit where an Inside Sales Rep will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation to conducting demos and closing deals.
You’ll work on both inbound and outbound efforts, building your pipeline and owning each stage of the sales process. You will also be responsible for selling Verbit's subscription packages to institutions, ensuring they receive tailored solutions for their accessibility and transcription needs.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Generate and manage your own sales pipeline through inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and targeted outreach.
- Conduct product demos and presentations for prospective customers in the Higher Education space.
- Qualify leads and moves them through the sales funnel by addressing challenges and offering tailored solutions.
- Sell Verbit's subscription packages, demonstrating how our offerings can address key pain points in accessibility and compliance.
- Work with onboarding team to ensure seemless customer onboarding
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly sales targets and goals.
- Collaborate with SDRs, marketing, and customer success teams to drive growth and enhance the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of all activities and interactions with prospects and customers.
- Requirements :
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in SaaS, EdTech, or technology solutions within the higher education space.
- Proven track record of success in managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.
- Strong presentation skills and experience in conducting demos.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels within universities and colleges.
- Experience selling subscription packages or similar pricing models is a plus.
- A self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, etc.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience selling to higher education institutions or related industries.
- Knowledge of accessibility and compliance regulations in higher education.
- Experience with or knowledge of transcription, captioning, or translation solutions.
