Associate Attorney (Insurance Defense)

Position : Our law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our busy practice. The focus of our practice is on insurance defense in wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits.

We proudly represent three of the four largest automobile insurance companies in the United States, including the largest property and casualty insurer.

Job Description : The Associate Attorney will be directly involved in all phases of litigation, from initial intake through trial.

With the support of our experienced staff and guidance from our firm's Attorneys and Partners, the new associate will :

• Review and analyze claims materials and litigation filings
• Evaluate and respond to written discovery
• Monitor and meet litigation deadlines
• Prepare client reports
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and respond to motions
• Argue pretrial hearings
• Prepare for and attend jury trials

Qualifications :

• At least one year of experience as a practicing attorney
• Commitment to providing excellent legal services
• Eagerness to learn and develop litigation skills
• Genuine desire to practice as a civil trial attorney in North Texas
• Prior experience in personal injury litigation is a substantial plus
• Prior defense work is particularly preferred but not necessary

Requirements :

• Proven track record of effectively working hybrid or remotely
• Experience in defending trucking accidents
• 160 billable hours per month
