What are your contributions to the team?

Customer Support Engineer (CSE)

Modify Kit and Sustaining Spares Engineering (all Learjet models)

Develop GSE (Ground Support Equipment) (all Learjet models)

Provide Spares Support Engineering

Approve Vendor Engineering Configuration Sustaining

Be responsible for Certification of replacement parts and software upgrades, both Type Certificate and Supplemental Type Certificate programs

Be a focal for electrical / avionics and associated emerging regulations

Assist in resolving Top Customer Issues

Some travel may be required

This position is located in Wichita, Kansas.

How to thrive in this role?

University or college degree in a relevant technical field is required, BS in engineering is recommended

7 years experience in aviation production environment is required, 10 years recommended

5 years experience in a customer support engineering environment is recommended

Strong technical ability required, with a focus on electrical / avionics

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly motivated, self-starter, able to handle multiple issues effectively

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required

Eligible to view and handle ITAR material

Proficiency with MS Office tools

Proficiency with AutoCad and / or Catia V5

Working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA)

Passport required
