Volunteer Coordinator - Minneapolis/St Paul
Job Description :
Moments Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Coordinator to work in the field in the covering the Minneapolis - St. Paul area.
Expectations :
- Responsible to make introductions of volunteers to patients
- Speaking engagements (1 per week)
- 35-40 touch points in the community per week
o Churches / Synagogues / Temples
o Senior Centers
o Rotary Clubs
o Civic Groups
o Groups such as Elks Club
o Colleges / Universities / Tech schools
o VFWs / American Legions
o Assisted and Independent Living facilities
o Other community organizations
- Post flyers
- Attend job fairs
- Holding volunteer requirement events
- Passing out recruitment materials
- Must be available for evening and weekend activities (as required)
- Expectation to be out in the community and not in office
Quota :
- 20 volunteer applications completed for assigned territory per month
- At least 10% of applications must convert into an active volunteer.
