ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
- Administers workers’ compensation claim program, including investigating the circumstances surrounding claims, verifying employee eligibility, filing claims, administering the light duty program and assisting employee’s in their transition back to work.
- Reviews all supervisory reports of injury forms to identify possible fraudulent employee Worker’s Compensation benefit claims.
- Initiates contact with identified employee(s), internal departments and assigned TPA (Third Party Administrator) claims adjustor(s), while following up with reports, photos, and surveillance tapes as appropriate.
- Works in conjunction with the Safety & Loss Control Representative and Worker’s Compensation insurance carriers, TPA medical provider(s) to coordinate in-house occupational inspections of all facilities for the purpose of identification of current or potential employee injury and health exposures.
- Attends quarterly claim summary review meetings with workers’ compensation insurance carrier, TPA medical provider(s) and GRIC.
- Creates and processes requisitions, purchase orders, disclosures, invoices, contracts and check requests.
- Inventories, maintains and purchases office supplies for departmental use.
- Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and / or lateness.
- Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
Skills / Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Administrative experience in safety, risk, insurance management or workers compensation required.
- Knowledge of Safety and Loss Prevention’s impact on worker’s compensation claim frequency and costs.
- Most possess a valid AZ Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past five (5) years.

- Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guest and fellow team members.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
