The HR Generalist oversees all HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, engagement, training, strategy, OSHA compliance and documentation, and payroll processing.

Responsibilities include :

  • Manage OSHA reporting, record keeping, and workplace safety programs to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation and policy introduction.
  • Administer and educate on benefit plans to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee bi-weekly payroll using CBIZ, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle FMLA processes, including eligibility determination and documentation.
  • Implement policies to maintain positive employee relations and minimize disputes and deliver HR training programs on policies and compliance.

Qualifications include :

  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, encompassing payroll and benefit administration duties.
  • Essential understanding of OSHA regulations and the ability to develop and deliver training programs to ensure compliance and promote workplace safety.
  • Proven experience in implementing HR programs, policies, and procedures to support organizational objectives and foster employee engagement.
  • Extensive expertise in employee benefits programs, encompassing health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.
  • Strong understanding of employment and labor laws
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred.
