Shift : Early Morning 6 : 30AM-3PM (06 : 30 - 15 : 00)

Hours and call schedule will vary. Will confirm both prior to offering. Once a candidate accepts they will be sent a link from the Medical Affairs Office.

This paperwork will need to be submitted asap. This process takes up to 6 weeks to complete. Accepted Certifications National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA) National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

Shift timings : 06 : 30 - 17 : 15

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
• Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
• Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
• Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
• Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
• Tracking surgical supplies.
• Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
• Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
• Helping provide great patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current Certified Surgical First Assist experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited Certified Surgical Tech program
• Active unencumbered Certified Surgical Tech Tennessee state license
• One year of Epic experience
