Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Auburn, NY

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Days, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Hours : 40 hrs / week

Call Requirement : Yes – 1 week every 3 weeks (4 : 30 PM – 8 : 00 AM plus full Sat / Sun coverage)

Position Summary :

A facility in Auburn, NY is seeking a Cath Lab RN to join their new Cath Lab unit. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures, including management of critical equipment and administration of sedation. This role requires strong clinical skills, ability to precept incoming staff, and flexibility to meet call requirements.

Qualifications :

Current NY RN license – Required

Minimum 3 years Cath Lab RN experience – Required

ACLS & BLS – Required

Experience with balloon pumps – Required

Conscious sedation training – Required

Experience with GE equipment – Required

Charting with Mac Lab – Required

STEMI call experience – Required

AHA NIHSS certification (1-year only, not 2-year) – Required prior to start

6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on stroke-related topics – Required prior to start
