Job Overview - Licensed Practical Nurse (Part-Time) :
Seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential nursing care and support in New Jersey. This part-time role focuses on ensuring the well-being of individuals served by promoting a consumer-oriented approach to healthcare.
Compensation : $40 / hour
Location : Union City, NJ
Schedule : 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Licensed Practical Nurse (Part-Time) :
- Nursing Care : Provide direct nursing care and ensure the general well-being of each individual served.
- Medication Administration : Administer medications and complete necessary documentation.
- Daily Living Assistance : Support individuals in daily living skills and accompany them to medical appointments and activities.
- Documentation : Accurately complete in-house documentation, including logs, reports, and medication administration records.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration : Work with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to build self-esteem and social capital for each individual served.
- Vehicle Operation : Operate agency vehicles as needed during shifts. Qualifications for the Licensed Practical Nurse (Part-Time) :
- Education : Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
- Licensure : Licensed in the State of New Jersey.
- Experience : 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities (I / DD) preferred.
- Skills : Basic computer literacy, strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
