Events Coordinator - Nonprofit Sector - Base Salary to 60k / year - Fort Worth, TX
Our client is a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to Christian Education Advocacy. They are seeking an Events Coordinator to coordinate impactful training events for 50-75 guests.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate planning and execution of all training and special events, reporting directly to the Training Director and collaborating closely with the President, Operations, and Marketing teams.
- Lead internal teams with a collaborative, results-oriented approach to ensure high-quality events that align with the organization’s mission.
- Manage logistics to create seamless, impactful event experiences, from designing staging and signage to overseeing attendee lodging, transportation, registration, and communication.
- Work with Marketing to promote events and ensure production quality meets the organization’s high standards.
- Execute events within budget, communicating financial needs or vendor changes to management and keeping the team informed of progress throughout planning.
- Collaborate with external vendors, including caterers, transportation companies, and video production teams, to deliver top-tier event experiences.
- Lead onsite event execution, handling tasks such as material assembly, food and drink preparation, and on-the-ground logistics.
- Travel regularly (about 50 percent of the time) and be prepared for flexible scheduling, with events often spanning Sunday night to mid-day Wednesday.
Qualifications :
- 1+ years of experience in events or project management.
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Proficient in software platforms used for event management, with strong administrative skills.
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds and endure long hours on your feet during events.
Compensation :
- Base salary to 60k / year
