Salary : $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education : Master's degree
Experience : 2 to 3 years of community based counseling experience.
Training : Crisis Intervention Training within 90 days of employment
Licensure : Current LPC or LCSW license from the Louisiana State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors or Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiner
Shall have the following responsibilities :
- Be on duty and on call as needed
- Provide supervision utilizing evidenced-based techniques related to the practice of behavioral health counseling
- Serve as resource person for other professionals counseling persons with behavioral health disorders
- Attend and participate in care conferences, treatment planning activities, and discharge planning
- Provide supervision and staffing consultation with staff / therapist / Clinical Director
- Function as client advocate in treatment decisions
- Ensure the provider adheres to rules and regulations regarding all behavioral health treatment, such as group size, caseload, and referrals
- Provide services that are within the person’s scope of practice
- Assist the medical director and governing body with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
