PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST 2 (100% FTE, DAYS)

UW Medicine Primary Care - South Lake Union has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week)
  • Monday-Friday, 9 : 30am-6 : 30pm
  • Day Shift

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Located on the corner of Dexter Avenue N. and Republican Street, UW Medicine Primary Care at South Lake Union offers primary care appointments six days a week.

The clinic offers a full spectrum of primary care services (including family medicine and integrated behavioral health), obstetrics and gynecology, and sports medicine.

Also located within the building, you’ll find designated specialty care from the UW Diabetes Institute and the Karalis Johnson Retina Center.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
  • Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
  • Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
  • Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
  • Other Duties as Requested

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND
  • One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience
  • An equivalent combination of education / experience
