The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and supporting our financial team.

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, ensuring all accounting functions comply with regulations and standards of best practice.

2. Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures.

3. Conduct detailed account reconciliations and analyses to identify and resolve any discrepancies.

4. Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.

5. Use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios and predict future outcomes.

6. Present financial information to the management team, providing insights to inform business decisions.

7. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

8. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.

9. Assist with tax audits and tax returns.

10. Keep up-to-date with the latest financial laws and regulations, and utilize this knowledge to ensure the company's financial management remains compliant.

Job Details

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.

3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including preparation of financial statements.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

5. Experience with account reconciliation, financial reporting, general ledger, and financial analysis.

6. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough attention to detail.

7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
