They are an Industrial Security Contractor specializing in Low Voltage Security, CCTV, Card Access, Telephone Entry, Intercom, Wireless Networking, Automatic Gates and other Security Equipment.
Their organization is looking for a Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer position is essential to expanding their business organically from their reputation and over 10,000 existing customers in the San Francisco Bay area and beyond.
As a Sales Engineer, you will design systems to meet the client’s specific requirement. These systems control entry or access into a company, complex or development.
They also offer surveillance systems to record activity at entry and exit areas. What You’ll Do : Foster and build positive customer relations by interfacing with existing customers and calling on new prospects and developing new opportunities within Contra Costa County and the bay area.
Prepare and present professional proposals that include technical solutions, financial solutions, and overall security entry and surveillance solutions.
Lead and work in tandem with the projects team to provide a complete solution for both install and service. Design Loss Prevention Access Control Systems and Surveillance Systems About You : Has a deep understanding of card access and integrated CCTV applications.
Experience working with Facilities Managers, Security Managers and Property Managers. Proven track record of success selling service contracts and other recurring (monthly) service revenue in addition to standard installation revenue is a plus.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Effective listening and questioning skills and polished presentation skills are required Experience in commercial systems business development preferred.
Candidate must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. 2+ years of Low-Voltage Sales Experience, ideal 2+ years of experience working with Facility Managers, ideal Ability to develop and execute prospecting and account plans to exceed quotas of $1.
5M per year, preferred Demonstrated leadership and communication skills Out of the box thinker Compensation for this role is $80,000-$115,000 annually.
Final compensation offer will be dependent on merit factors including years of experience and relevant job skills. The role includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability insurance with 401k retirement plan, Paid vacation, sick leave and holiday pay, company vehicle, cell phone and lap top computer.
