Travel Nurse (RN) Interventional Radiology (IR)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Interventional Radiology

Shift : Days, 7 : 30a-4p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, M-F

Length : 13 weeks

Minimal call may be required

Local radius : 50 miles

Level 3 Trauma experience; EpicMinimal call may be required, will be discussed during interview with manager.

7 : 30a-4p. Monday- Friday

ACLS, BLS, and valid nursing license. Previous IR experience needed.The Medical Imaging department is staffed by nurses responsible for monitoring invasive procedures, administering medications, providing patient education, and responding to critical situations.

The nurses receive competency training and ongoing education through the Division of Nursing.TYPE AND AGE OF PATIENTS SERVED :

To best meet the needs of pediatric, adolescent, young adults, adults and geriatric patients, Medical Imaging Services provides developmentally appropriate care to all patients served.

Staff receives initial orientation and subsequent annual competencies related to the psychosocial, physical, cognitive, and other related needs of the patients served.

SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY OF PATIENT'S CARE NEEDS :

The Medical Imaging department provides diagnostic / therapeutic procedures for all types of patients, including inpatients, outpatients, Emergency & Trauma Center (ETC) patients, and inpatients, requiring portable and surgical procedures.

Comprehensive services and trained staff are available to meet any Medical Imaging diagnostic / therapeutic needs the patient may have.

Services include General Radiography, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine (NM) (including positron emission tomography PET ), Neuro / therapeutic / diagnostic interventional procedures, MRI / magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), CT Imaging, and Ultrasound.

The Medical Imaging department is staffed with nurses who are available to assist patients or the Medical Staff in an event of an unplanned occurrence.

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).

Estimated Weekly Rate : $2835 per week
