Job Details
- Effective 11 / 30 / 24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9 / 9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11 / 30).
- Periop / OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11 / 30 deadline.
Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
- Minimum Experience Required : 1 YEAR REQUIRED, 1st time travelers accepted if they have 3+ years of experience
- Shift : 4x10s
- Call Required : Minimum 2 days a week and every 3rd weekend
- Dailey Census - 5-7
- Documentation : Cerner, McKesson
- Equipment : Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shockwave, Rampart, Pneumbra, Inari
- Skills : Circulate, Conscious Sedation required
- Procedures : Cardiac - LHC, RHC, Balloon pumps, Temp pacer, Perm pacer / defib, pericardial effusion, STEMI call. IR - venous access, drains placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, Tips, PV, Fistula work, UFEs, prostate embos, GI / Post Partum / other internal bleeds

1 YEAR REQUIRED experience for general candidates, 3+ years of experience for 1st time travelers

- All certifications must be from AHA. RQI is acceptable.
