Job Description : The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients.

Posting Specifics : Benefits Eligible : NoShift Details : Min of 3 days and 2 nights in 6 weeks; however, may be variable to meet needs of unit schedule.

72 hours in a 6 week schedule, 24 hours is weekend or night shift. Must work one summer and one winter holiday, determined by each individual department, On-call requirements, determined by each individual department.

Minimum Qualifications : ASN / ADN or BSN from an accredited programAbility to obtain BSN within four years of hire, unless you have a minimum of 15 years of proven, continuous, acute care RN experience,Current RN license to practice nursing in the state of MontanaCurrent BLSPreferred Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.At least 1 year NICU RN experienceTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements list must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and / or ability required.

Ability to work nights and / or weekends is required for identified positions.Physical Requirements : Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.

• and -Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
• and -Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
• and -Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.

Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.- and -Need to walk and assist with transporting / ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.

This includes pushing / pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc).
