American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with CT or compact license, strong trauma background, and scrubbing experience in neuro, ortho, and robotics.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in the Operating Room of a short-term acute care hospitalFacility is a Level II Trauma Center with a 426-bed capacityRequires both circulating and scrubbing in majority of service lines except cardiacSignificant focus on neuro, ortho, and robotic cases using DaVinci XI and DaVinci5 systemsCharting is completed using EPICDay shift schedule : five 8-hour shifts, 9 : 00am to 5 : 30pmCall, rotation, and weekend coverage required as needed for departmentResponsibilities include both circulating and scrubbing for operative cases across multiple specialties except cardiacWill provide coverage for breaks during high-volume neuro, ortho, and robotics casesAuto-approval of up to 7 days of requested time off; requests exceeding 7 days require approvalPre-assignment modules must be completed before start and annually as requiredFree parking provided on-siteParticipation in emergency or disaster response activities may be requiredScrub or dress code details should be confirmed with assignment onboardingReturn assignments for former employees are only allowed after a 2-year interval\n \n Requirements\n
Active CT or Compact RN license required prior to start dateMinimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience requiredTrauma experience in an acute care setting is requiredPrevious experience circulating and scrubbing in neuro, ortho, and robotics requiredExperience with DaVinci XI and DaVinci5 robots preferredEPIC charting system experience preferredFlu vaccine required with no declinations acceptedCOVID vaccine and booster required unless granted medical or religious exemptionMust reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not acceptedMust not have prior disciplinary action on nursing licenseAt least one professional reference requiredReturning staff must have been gone at least 2 years to be eligible\n Benefits\n
