This position is OT eligible
Performs all duties in an efficient manner to ensure all resins are compounded / produced to meet customer needs. Follows all procedures as applicable.
Promotes Safe Start Safety culture and Total Quality Management systems. Have experience in the ISO systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Required :
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to drive and operator a forklift.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, for several hours a day.
- Must be able to climb ladders and a specific height.
- Mechanical aptitude, understand and read directions.
- Computer skills-Word, Excel. Must be comfortable using a computer.
Major Areas of Accountability :
Essential Functions :
- Batch Compounding-Consists of loading the correct amount of raw materials into the mix tank.
- QC- Performing Quality Control testing on compounded Resins.
- Loading out product-Packaging materials into drums, totes, or tank wagon.
- Unloading of Raw Materials-Into proper storage such as rail cars, tank wagons and other material tanks storage.
- Raw Material Handling-Movement and restocking of raw materials from warehouse to the plant. Monitoring current inventory levels of raw materials.
- Maintenance-Maintenance of all equipment. Refurbishing of pumps and valves.
- Shipping and receiving of raw materials and finished products.
- Computer entry-Consists of making batch cards, entering batch data, preparing shipping paperwork.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Punctuality and regularity of attendance are job requirements.
