Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Public Relations Associate to join our team and play a vital role in enhancing our brand awareness and reputation. As a Public Relations Associate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that resonate with our target audience and promote our mission.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative public relations campaigns to promote the organization's brand and initiatives.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials to targeted media outlets.
  • Assist in managing media inquiries and cultivating relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities and outcomes for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align messaging and strategies across all platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations, preferably in a similar organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various audiences.
  • Experience in handling media relations and building relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
