Director of Marketing and Business Development
Full-time Position
Reports to Chief Executive Officer
Location : Rittman Branch
Objective : Community Involvement, New Member Growth, Brand Awareness.
The goal of this position is to create a culture of community involvement, create awareness for our products and services, and assist in the improvement of the financial well-being of the community.
This pertains to businesses, schools, civic organizations, and the general public.
Specific duties include :
- Regular involvement in community groups and organizations such as DABA, Chamber of Commerce, Lions Clubs, WEDC, YMCAs, Boys and Girls Clubs, etc.
- Building relationships with schools and organizations through financial education, scholarships, etc.
- Organizing financial education courses with schools, organizations, and public events.
- Building relationships with local businesses by offering products and services or taking advantage of marketing opportunities.
- Identifying financial needs of the community and providing solutions through new products and enhancing current offerings.
- Managing community and workplace events such as parades, Christmas activities, employee outings, and annual meeting planning.
- Responsible for new member and new account acquisition with goals determined annually during budget planning.
- Acting as a direct contact for business account customers for tasks beyond simple teller transactions.
- Organizing business account structures, documents needed, signers, etc.
- Assisting in annual planning with budgeting for marketing and setting growth goals.
- Planning and implementing marketing campaigns.
- Managing social media accounts and website pages, including planning scheduled member notifications and making regular updates.
- Creating in-branch marketing materials.
Requirements :
- Must attain a financial counseling certification through CUNA within the first 6 months.
- Must be open to a flexible schedule and available to work occasional Saturdays and weeknights.
- Must have 1-3 years minimum of related experience.
- Must feel comfortable speaking in public in a professional manner.
- Must have knowledge or experience with a design program.
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
