Job Summary :

The Warehouse Team Lead will work as a Base Operations member in order to lead the warehouse team members to be successful in their daily operations.

This position is twofold within Base Operations. One aspect is working primarily at the warehouse to deliver products to the mountain top restaurants.

The second aspect is working as the sustainability coordinator for night operations.

Expected Pay Range : $23.00 - $25.99 / hour

Shift & Schedule Availability : Full Time

Skill Level : Advanced

Job Responsibilities :

Warehouse

  • Assisting with the receiving of products from multiple vendors.
  • Organizing products to be delivered on the mountain daily.
  • Meeting with Breck Mountain Dining Leads in order to foster relationship.
  • Ownership of the condition of the loading docks.
  • Work with nighttime warehouse lead to formulating evening plan for the distribution of products.
  • Forklift operations (training available)
  • Snow cat Operations (training available)
  • Working in nighttime high alpine conditions.

Sustainability

  • Do daily checks of garbage, compost and recycling needs for each mountaintop restaurant.
  • Working with C2Z team for proper waste management and recycling programs
  • Will help drive growth of Commitment to Zero programs and raise awareness of Sustainability efforts at resort level through employee education
  • Provide restaurant loading dock guidance and management for waste streams.

Job Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to speak, read and communicate clearly in English. Ability to read and comprehend complex correspondence.
  • Intermediate or better user of basic Microsoft Office Products (Office, Excel).
  • Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Must have a clean driving record and pass a Motor Vehicle Records report.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the year.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time without sitting.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays if necessary.

The expected pay range is $23.00 - $25.99. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
