As a Product Owner for Consumer and Commercial Banking (CCB) Risk's Model Delivery Services and Risk's AI / ML solutions, this role will be responsible for the product roadmap, delivering AI / ML / LLM / Graphing capabilities, model operations and deployment, migration to cloud and representing Risk in firmwide AI / ML councils / working groups.

This role will be part of the CCB Risk organization and will work with and be a peer and trusted colleague to other product owners as well as collaborate with internal and external partners as you define the product strategy and deliver on business commitments.

Job Responsibilities :

  • The ideal candidate will possess both a business background to drive an engagement and interact with senior business leaders, as well as an AI / ML technical background to easily interact with data scientists and technology engineers.
  • The candidate will engage with technology executives, business leaders, Chief Risk Officers and Heads of CCB Risk and Line of Business modeling on the product roadmap(s) and technology capabilities for the AI / ML product.
  • This role requires the ability to drive the agile process with a deep acumen on the agility operating model.
  • This role will need to be comfortable working in a highly technical environment with the ability to manage product vision, roadmaps, user story mapping, backlog, value proposition, sprint planning / review, and iterative releases.
  • This role will lead a team that supports the AI / ML scientists, software developers and engineers during the modeling lifecycle.
  • This role will also be responsible for migrating platforms, services, applications and data scientists to the cloud.
  • As product owner, this role is responsible coordinating with other Product teams, supporting the modeling community and managing your stakeholders as well as delivering presentations and business reviews to the senior management.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.

  • 5+ years' experience in product ownership / management, financial services industry and management and 2+ years actively involved in an Agile / Scrum environment
  • Comfortable utilizing Jira, Confluence
  • Demonstrated leadership in product development (taking products from conception to release), as well as experience with project and stakeholder management
  • A solid grasp of the machine learning lifecycle and best practices
  • Knowledge of development and project management methodologies, best practices, and tools (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
  • A willingness to help and share knowledge with other team members
  • Experience in working with diverse teams, involving different cultures / locations
  • An experienced leader of cross product initiatives in complex environments
  • Expert in reporting complex initiatives and briefing executives
  • Strong technology background with the communication skills to articulate technical matters to a broader audience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering or other relevant field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • AWS Certification(s) with experience implementing AWS and / or other cloud services.
  • Experience working with financial risk organizations
  • Versed in Software DevOps and Cloud Operating Models
  • A Master's degree in a technical discipline, or the background and experience that demonstrates a similar level of strong programming skills and practices
