Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a RN PACU to be responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of a complex, varied surgical population.

n nWe are seeking an RN PACU to : n nBe responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of a complex, varied surgical population nDevelop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and / or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably.

n nMinimum Requirements : n nTraveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile : resume, Medefis portal and all onboarding documentation must have permanent address listed).

n nExperience : n nExperience working pre / post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Critical care background required.

nTraveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. nTraveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.

nSuccessfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks). nTraveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. nTravelers are the first to float.

The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and / or different locations within the organization.

During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.

n nLicensure and Certification : n nTraveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.

nBLS, ACLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY n nReference n nNeeds 2 references from recent work environment / assignments (supervisor or manager only).
