EMI Services is hiring an experienced Wastewater / Stormwater Field Service Manager . The work involves direct responsibility for planning, scheduling, assigning, participating, and supervising work crews engaged in wastewater and storm water maintenance.

Salary : $80,000 to $100,000 (Depending on Experience and Licensing) plus employer paid health benefits!

Key Responsibilities :

• Managing a crew of 8-10 personnel in inspection, maintenance, monitoring, and repair of sewer and storm water systems including pipes, manholes, catch basins, and lift stations.
• Supervise cleaning of sewer and wastewater systems.
• Plan and execute lift station bypass and monitoring during power outages which will include pumping down lift stations and installing generators and bypass pumps.
• Supervise planning and estimating maintenance, repair, inspection, and monitoring.
• Supervise repairs to sewer and wastewater systems.
• Effectively communicate preventive maintenance and repair requirements to subordinates.
• Train and mentor subordinate personnel.
• Effectively communicate requirements to customers.
• Ensure effluent is maintained within required H2S limits daily and record and report readings.

Minimum Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in a management role in wastewater and storm water system evaluation, maintenance, monitoring, and repair (10+ years preferred).
• CA Wastewater 1 or 2 Certification.
• Class A (CDL) Driver's License.
• Speak and understand English to effectively communicate with fellow employees, customers, and vendors.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications to communicate and create documents for job execution.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Regular, dependable attendance.
• U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Physical Requirements :

• Tasks require the ability to exert moderate, though not constant physical effort.
• Some combination of climbing and balancing to include climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Some lifting to include overhead lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (10-20 pounds).
• May occasionally involve heavier objects and materials (up to 50 pounds).
