Responsibilities
Senior Account Managers are expected to provide outstanding service for our customers, and consistent support to our Commercial Producers.
- General duties include;
- Acting as the point person for all customer & policy service needs.
- Preparing and executing marketing plans for new and renewal business. Scheduling and conducting client insurance reviews alongside Commercial Producers.
- Overseeing and completing backend documentation of policy issuance, endorsements, claims, and billing alongside accounting team.
Senior Account Managers are expected to excel at building and maintaining relationships with commercial insurance clients to ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
- This relationship first mentality must also be supported by proficiency and efficiency in the following areas;
- Policies and Coverage : Ability to analyze policies, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Renewals and Policy Servicing : Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and changes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Claims Support : Assist clients with the claims process, providing guidance and support to navigate insurance claims efficiently.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation, and communication logs.
Requirement
- Account Manager must be fully licensed as a Property & Casualty Broker / Agent. An ideal candidate will also have;
- A thorough understanding of insurance industry, Commercial Lines underwriting, products and coverage.
- Five (7) years or more of insurance industry work experience, but no less than three (5) years of specific experience with agent side commercial lines
- Previous experience / roles as a CSR, Account Manager, and / or Sales Support
- An Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school , or greater (B.A., etc.)
