About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Charge Special Procedures Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days, 4x12 Hr, 48 hrs / wk Guaranteed Hours : 48 hrs / wk Experience : 2 years required, 5 years preferred License : KY Radiation Certifications : ARRT, BLS, EKG Must-Have : - Experience in Cardiac catheterization and Electrophysiology - Knowledge of imaging equipment operations - Familiarity with quality assurance and radiation safety Job Description : - Ensure the delivery of quality services in Cardiac catheterization and Electrophysiology labs.
- Oversee staff in the operation of imaging equipment and provide supervision. - Supervise ongoing quality testing with personnel and vendors.
- Implement and monitor radiation safety measures for compliance and safety of patients and staff. - Prepare work schedules and assign duties to optimize patient flow and meet goals.
- Assist in maintaining department budget. - Foster communication within and between departments. - Supervise staff performance, conduct, attendance, and adherence to policies.
- Orient and function as a preceptor for new employees. - Demonstrate commitment to organizational values and ethics. - Adhere to dress code and infection control, safety, and personnel guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and treat patients and families with respect and dignity. - Perform other related duties as assigned.
Candidates must possess basic computer skills and knowledge in keyboarding, infection control, quality assurance, and the medical center's code of conduct.
