Position Overview : Join our team as a School-Based Special Education Teacher (SPED) in Orange, New Jersey, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with students with diverse learning needs to provide specialized instruction and support.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic subjects.
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in special education or related field.
- New Jersey state certification or eligibility for certification as a Special Education Teacher.
- At least one year of recent experience as a Special Education Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
