Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and in collaboration as a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse (RN) performs ongoing assessments of the behavioral and medical needs of the patients each shift and accurately chart those observations of the patient.
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for creating, maintaining and managing a therapeutic milieu within the treatment program to ensure safety of patients and staff.
The Registered Nurse (RN) will demonstrate appropriate Therapeutic Boundaries with patients and coworkers. The Registered Nurse (RN) will report to the Charge Nurse / House Supervisors / Director of Nursing and will possibly oversee / supervise LPNs and MHAs in selected aspects of direct clinical care as needed or directed.
The Registered Nurse (RN) operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Rules and Regulations of Registered Nurses outlined by the Arkansas Board of Nursing and according to agency operating policies, protocols, and standards.
