What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
- Design and implement improvements to the C++ development ecosystem and workflows to enhance engineering productivity
- Collaborate with engineers across the company to understand and support their development workflows
- Own technical projects from inception to completion, making key technical decisions and trade-offs
- Lead complex, cross-team projects with various partners and stakeholders
- Drive software engineering best practices and mentor other engineers on the team
What is Required (Qualifications) :
- 8+ years of experience, preferably with large-scale build systems
- 3+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-team initiatives
- Experience with developer tooling, build systems, and C++
- Familiarity with compiler toolchain integrations (Clang, GCC, NVCC, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to improve processes and systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Experience programming with C++ or Go
- Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis tools (Axivion, Valgrind, ASan, TSAN, etc.)
- Knowledge of build systems such as Bazel or Buck
- Experience with cloud infrastructure
