The Program in Linguistics at Princeton University invites applications for one open-rank faculty position (tenure-track Assistant Professor, tenured Associate Professor, or tenured Full Professor), beginning September 1, 5.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in theoretical linguistics. We welcome applications from scholars working in any subfield(s) of linguistics, but we especially encourage applications from those whose research involves syntax and brings together data and insights from across the grammar.
Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate courses, advising at the undergraduate and postdoc level, and service, as well as participating in the intellectual life of the Program in Linguistics.
PhD required by start date. The Program in Linguistics is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
