This hospital is 3 hours NW of Oklahoma City
We are looking for an PA to cover our clinics with some ER call.
- FT Clinic Role with Rotating ER Call
- M-F 8a-5p with 3 day weekend every other week
- Rotating ER call every other month and regular weeknight call
- ER volume is 50-60 patients per month
- 130-140k / yr depending on experience
- Inhouse services include PT, pulmonary rehab, wound care, sleep study, 64 slice CAT scan, x-ray, pain management
- New Grads are ok!
- Local physician will take you under his wing and train you to see patients in the clinic and take ER call
- No ER experience required
- Relocation Required - Some assistance will be provided
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications :
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
