  • This is an onsite role in Auburndale, FL

Position Summary

The Cost Manager position involves managing and overseeing the Company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This role requires strong analytical and financial modeling skills to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial health. Key responsibilities include developing financial models, analyzing performance, and collaborating across departments to align financial plans with organizational goals.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Accounts payable and purchase order management, including processing invoices against purchase order receipts and projecting the timing of resulting payments.
  • Support compliance activities associated with Food Safety Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior leadership.
  • Assist the Controller in annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes. This includes developing financial models, consolidating data, and performing variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.

    • Education / Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Accounting experience required
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Financial modeling, cost experience preferred
