Department : Library Services Department Organizational Unit : Library Services Eau Gallie Library

Position Type : Permanent Full Time / Part Time : Part Time

CLOSE DATE : 11 / 05 / 2025

$18.05 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area / Eau Gallie Public Library. Part-time / 20 hours per week. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings and weekends. Performs entry-level paraprofessional library work assisting primarily in the Circulation section of the library.

REQUIREMENTS : Successful completion of one (1) year of college coursework at an accredited college or university [30 semester (45 quarter) hours = one (1) year]; OR one (1) year of public library or customer service experience. Additional qualifying education and / or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : When usage statistics change, library employees may be assigned to another library. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
